SPICES is an acronym for Support for Parents, Infants and Children through Early Services. We provide support services to children with developmental delays and learning difficulties and to their parents as well.

SPICES is a non-profit community project by Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, Wangsa Maju, KL. Every man, woman and child is valuable in the eyes of God. Each person's presence, whatever the measure of his or her abilities, adds to the richness and diversity of life. The old adage that "variety is the spice of life" embodies a part of what SPICES believes in as we work with children with special needs.

SPICES offers:

  • An Early Intervention Programme (EIP) for children from birth to 6 years of age.

  • A Resource Library for families of children with special needs and practitioners.

  • Consultation and training in Early Intervention and Inclusion for kindergartens, teachers, and parents.
