1. What is TEE?

  • TEE, stands for Theological Education by Extension, is a revolutionary method to enable church leaders to receive theological education without leaving home, pioneered by Ralph Winter and friends in Guatemala in 1962.

  • The course utilizes materials developed by UK-based SEAN International, an inter-denominational body dedicated to writing Bible courses for TEE over 40 years.

  • Some of the prominent patrons of SEAN are the late Dr. John Stott, Rev. Dr. Michael Green, and Dr. Arnold Cook.

2. What do I gain from this course?

  • Acquire deep knowledge about the life of Jesus, thus getting to know our Saviour intimately.

  • Analyse in detail the Gospel of Matthew and be able to relate it to the gospels.

  • Learn all the main points of Christian Doctrine, starting with the Biblical text, and so be able to defend them with the authority.

  • Be able to identify the main characters of the Old Testament and understand their relation to Jesus.

  • Be able to identify all the important places in the New Testament on a map of the ancient world.

3. Not sure if this course is for you? Ask yourself these questions:

  • Are you leading or hoping to lead in a ministry of your church?

  • Are you seeking to learn theology in a way that is simple, comprehensive and practical?

  • Are you desiring to grow and learn to be like Christ within a community of believers?

Christianity Explored is an informal and relaxed seven-week course. It's for anyone who wants to think about the meaning of life. It's run by ordinary people local to you and is completely free. You don't need to know anything about the Bible and you won't be asked to pray or sing. You can ask any question you like or you can just sit and listen.

If you're interested to find out more, please contact Pr Hon Chien (+6016-311 4697).
